CQ Researcher* Contains scholarly reports on hot topics and controversial issues. Reports attempt to represent all facets of a debate and contain a substantial list of references.

Academic Search Complete (EBSCO)* A general database that searches a wide range of academic disciplines, with strong representation of science and technology topics. Consider using Google Scholar in the same way.
