Dear Sir or Madam: Thank you for your letter of February 14,2012 regarding notices posted on Durham Performing Arts Center's CDPAC) website and its primary ticket seller, Ticketmaster concerning online resale of admission tickets. As a result of your letter we have examined DP AC's website, as well as those Ticketmaster webpages for DPAC events for which DP AC has filed notices with our office. Both entities have been advised by this office of errors in their notices and asked to make immediate corrections to those that do not include the qualification that online resale of tickets may occur for the face value of the ticket or less. The Department of the Secretary of State does not have the statutory authority to investigate your complaint regarding TicketsNow offering tickets for online resale.
