Mission
The mission of Burney-Harris-Lyons Middle is to nurture successful lifelong learners through high expectations and mutual respect.

School Facility
Burney-Harris-Lyons Middle moved to a new modern facility in 1995. Since then, the school received some minor renovations. The Clarke County School Districts education sales tax will fund additional improvements within the next few years.

Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) shows how well schools are performing. AYP requires schools to meet three criteria: Test Participation - 95% of the students in grades 6-8 must take the CRCT. Academic Performance 73.3% of the students in grades 6-8 must meet or exceed standards in reading/English language arts and 67.6% of the students must meet or exceed standards in mathematics. Second Indicator Less than 15 percent of the students in grades 6-8 are absent more than 15 days. La misin de la Secundaria Burney-HarrisLyons (B-H-L) es formar estudiantes dispuesto a aprender permanentemente a travs de expectativas altas y respeto mutuo.

En 1995 la Secundaria Burney-HarrisLyons se mud al moderno plantel escolar actual. El dinero recaudado por el Condado de Clarke por el impuesto de venta financiar remodelaciones adicionales en los prximos aos.
