Re: Invitation to Xian Delegation to Participate in CISV Detroit Summer Village Dear Sir / Madam, It is my pleasure to furnish this letter of invitation to three members of the Xian delegation attending CISV Detroits Summer Village in 2012. CISV is an independent, non-political, non-sectarian volunteer organization promoting peace education and cross-cultural understanding in more than 60 countries worldwide. CISV is accredited in the United States by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel and is a registered non-profit corporation in the State of Ohio. Our four-week Summer Village, an international cross-cultural educational camp for 11-year-olds from 12 countries, will take place 28 June 27 July 2012 in Detroit MI. The Summer Village will be held at Shrine Catholic Academy, 3500 W. Thirteen Mile Rd., Royal Oak MI 48073. The delegation will have paid, confirmed, round-trip tickets to Detroit, where they will be met and taken to / from the airport by ground transportation provided by the CISV Detroit chapter. The chapter will provide full room and board, as well as all activity expenses except those of a personal nature. All adult leaders associated with the Summer Village are volunteers who receive no payment. Parents of the delegates will have given legal permission for their children to leave X and will have designated the adult leader as legal guardian during travel to and from the USA and throughout the Summer Village. Delegation members will have health and legal insurance valid in the USA.
