NGCP North Luzon joins bloodletting activity In solidarity with its community partners, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) joined a bloodletting activity at its North Luzon Regional Office in Poro Pt., San Fernando City, La Union on March 21, 2012. The activity with the theme Blood for Life Dugo Mo, Buhay Ko was organized in partnership with the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE) La Union Chapter, Junior Chamber International Bauang Inc., and the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) La Union Chapter. About 35 NGCP personnel and members of IIEELa Union Chapter signified their intention to donate but after various laboratory tests, only 24 qualified as donors. This is the fourth year of NGCPs participation and partnership with IIEELa Union Chapter and PRC La Union Chapter. As part of the efforts to maintain its blood bank facilities, the PRC-La Union, IIEELa Union Chapter and NGCP have agreed to conduct the bloodletting activity on a quarterly basis. ###
