Barack Hussein Obama was born onAugust 4th, 1961. His first name Hussein comes from the word that means "blessed by God" in Arabic. He is the 44th and current President of the United States. He is the first African American president .He was a United States Senator for Illinois, from January 2005 until he resigned after his election to the presidency in November 2008. He is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review. He worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago. He has taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004.

Barack was known as "Barry" among his friends .Besides his native English, he speaks Indonesian at the conversational level, which he learned during his four childhood years in Jakarta.
