1 COME ROAMING WITH ME! Out of the city and over the hill, Into the space where, time stands still, Under the tall trees, touching old wood, Taking the way where warriors once stood, Crossing the little bridge, losing my way, However, finding a friendly place where I can stay. Those were the days, friend, when we were strong And strode down the road to an marching song When the drew on the grass was fresh every morn, Moreover, we woke to call of the ringdove at dawn. The years have gone by, and sometimes I falter, Still I set out for a strong or a saunter, For the wind is as fresh as it was in my youth, And the peach and the pear, still the sweetest of fruit,

So cast away care and come roaming with me, Where the grass is still green and the air is still free.

2 OUR LOCAL TEAM!!

Here comes our batting hero, Salute the crowd, takes guard, And out for zero. He is in again To strike a ton; A lovely shot--Then out for one. Our demon bowler Runs in quick; Hes really is fast Though hit for six. In came their slugger:

He swung his bat And missed by inches, Our wicketkeeper is getting stitches. Where is our captain? In the deep. What is he doing? Fast asleep. Last man in: He kicks a boundary with his pad. L.B.W.! Not out? The ump is his dad!

3 TO LIGHT A FIRE!!

To light a fire We must kneel. To change a tire, We must descend, We bent: To pluck a flower

We bend, To lift a child, We bent again, To touch an elders feet We do the same. For prayer, or play, or just plain mending, Theres something to be said for bending!!
