    Grand Rapids police responded to a report of a multi-vehicle crash on April 15, 2012. A pickup truck carrying two men had been traveling south when it struck a parked car, spun, and flipped onto its side.     12-33475 SERIOUS INJURY CRASH

    Grand Rapids Police responded to Grandville Ave near Stone St SW on a report of a multivehicle crash at approximately 0620hrs, Sunday April 15, 2012. Officers found a 1995 Chevrolet S-10 pick- up with two occupants had been traveling south on Grandville when they struck a parked car. The truck then spun and flipped onto its driver side and came to rest in the roadway. The two occupants, a 22 yr old Grand Rapids man, and a 22 yr old Wyoming man were pinned in the vehicle and were extricated by the Grand Rapids Fire Department. Both were transported to St. Marys Hospital for treatment of possible life-threatening critical injuries. Alcohol appears to be a factor in this crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Grand Rapids Police Department Special Services Unit.
