Discipline is the presence of orderliness in any particular field of activity. Discipline is generally used as a tool for implementing various rules & regulations for the smooth running of the organization.

Negative Discipline
In this method, Fear is the key to maintenance of discipline. Also known as punitive discipline or enforced discipline It consists :Penalties Fines Warnings

Positive Discipline
Positive Discipline promotes cooperation & co-ordination with minimum of formal organization. It reduces the need for personal supervision required to monitor the employees

Self Discipline & Control


It is a kind of training that corrects poor performance rather than simply act as punishment for an offence
