I. Creating Your Account and Logging In

1.1Go to www.Dropbox.com

1.2 If you already have an account click the Login button.

1.6 Click the Save File button to save the Dropbox installer to your computer

1.7 Click Run instead of save file to run the Dropbox installer

1.8 Once you have downloaded the Dropbox installer, it will automatically run.

Click Install.

1.9 While the software is being installed a green

progress bar will show you the progress of

When the whole process finishes we will be asked for our dropbox account .

1.10 If you choose the first option, I dont have a Dropbox account then create a Dropbox window appear where you have to sign for the new account.

1.11 After you choose click Next button to continue

1.12 Sign - up your Personal Information, Email Address and Password.

1.13 Once you have completed the form, check the I agree Terms of Service,

1.14 Click the Next button to continue.

1.15 If you choose the second option, I already have a Dropbox account then log in to Dropbox window appear where you have to login your email & password

1.16 Choose your plan, if you want 2gb, 50gb,100gb on the setup screen.

1.17 After you have chosen your plan, click next to move on to the setup screen.

1.18 Choose your setup type, if you want Typical or Advanced.

1.19 After you chosen the type of setup click Install button.

II. MANIPULATE DROP BOX ACCOUNT

2.1 In order to use this icon, right click and select what you want to do.

2.2 If you just want to open the Dropbox

folder then it is as easy as double clicking this icon with the left mouse button.

2.3 So now we have our Dropbox folder

opened and it looks similar to this

picture.

2.4 If you look at your Dropbox icon in the lower right hand of your screen and see what looks like two arrows curved chasing each other, then its syncing.

2.5 If you see a green circle with a check mark in it, then that means it is done syncing.

2.6 Once you click Share this folder, it will bring you to their website where you type in the recipients email address, and begin sharing certain folders with them.

2.7 Click this to learn more about shared folders

2.8 Enter the persons email address you wish to share this folder with here. You can type more than one, so its possible to share with multiple people at once.

2.9 When you are done click Share Folder

2.10 Click this button to show deleted files

2.11 This download folder option is nice if you need a file on your work computer or somewhere else, and its only in your Dropbox folder on your home pc.

2.12 Clicking the undeleted button will restore these files to your Dropbox folder.

2.13 Grey deleted files

2.14 You can also choose to restore a file to a previous version if you or someone messes something up and dont want to redo all the work to fix it. This can be done on any file, deleted or not.
