Beer Bandit Busted

Just before midnight on Thursday evening White Rock RCMP received a call from two observant beach walkers. The witnesses, a 22 year old male from Surrey and a 21 year old female from Langley were walking along the promenade when they observed a male, dressed in black, break the side window of Montgomery Cottage Lunch restaurant, located in the 15500 block of Marine Drive, and go inside. Police were immediately dispatched and arrived on scene where they located the male still inside. Arrested without incident was, Hermann HONIG, 47, of White Rock. HONIG has been linked to three other incidents of Break and Enter at the same location in February, March and April of this year. In each incident cash, along with tools and BEER were taken. HONIG remains in custody and has been charged with 4 counts of Break and Enter. He is to appear in court again on April 23, 2012.
