MATTHEW 24:35 (NKJV) Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

It never ceases to amaze me just how encouraging and comforting the Word of God is! No matter what situation comes my way, there is always help, hope, direction and comfort to be found in reading His Word. Here are just a few of my favorites. Psalm 32:7-8 You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Isaiah 42:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you; When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. I Cor. 2:9 But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. II Cor. 12:9 And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Phil. 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Is it not it exciting just how the Word of God gives us exactly what we need, whenever we need it? We simply have to seek those treasures among its pages. What a gold mine!
