1. Why did this conflict escalate to physical violence?

I believe this situation escalated to physical violence because both people were asking each other questions and neither were getting answers. Jay was not in the mood to argue and started walking away. Tim felt disrespected by Jay turning his back on him as he did and grabbed Jay, thus initiating the physical violence. 2. What assumptions does your answer reveal? My answer makes an assumption of the mood Jay was in and how he was feeling at the time. Also, the feeling that Tim had when Jay turned to walk away 3.
