Aim
Rocket is simply means a vehicle or device propelled by one or more rocket engines, especially such a vehicle designed to travel through space.
Through this experiment, we can know more about the force which can overcome the gravity and travel into space.

Apparatus and Materials

-A paperboard with different angles makes on it -Film Canister(with cover) -Some Chemical Element

Hypothesis

Procedure

Result
st 1

Try: 2.97m

nd 2

Try: 5.34m

Conclusion
The chemical element give out gas and the gas inside the rocket exerts an action force on the water, and the water exerts an re-action force of the same size on the water rockets. As a result, the water rocket moves upwards

Improvement

Other Experiments
Launching a water rocket (Demonstration) (Text book P.32)

Steps
-Firstly, fill a water rocket half full with water. Connect the water rocket to an air pump.

Steps
-Firstly, fill a water rocket half full with water. Connect the water rocket to an air pump.
-Secondly, Pump air into the water rocket.

Steps
-Firstly, fill a water rocket half full with water. Connect the water rocket to an air pump.

-Secondly, Pump air into the water rocket. -Pull the trigger

Result
The water inside the water rocket, over downwards. The water rocket moves upwards. ( The gas inside the water rocket exerts a action force on the water, and the water exerts an reaction force of the same size on the water rocket. As a result, the water rocket moves upwards)

Other information about rockets

When we talk about space traveling, we often refer to space fight.
Spaceflight (also written space flight) is ballistic flight into or through outer space. Spaceflight can occur with spacecraft with or without humans on board.
