Denise Davis, M.D., is the Cincinnati Board of Healths newest Board member and was sworn in at Januarys meeting. Dr. Davis is currently the Physician Clinical Reviewer with WellPoint, Inc.. She also works as a TV and radio consultant for Health, Wellness & Restoration, Inc. and Doctors in the Kitchen TV Show Cable Channel 24. Dr. Davis will serve a three year term which ends Dec 14, 2014. CHD welcomes Dr. Davis to the Cincinnati Board of Health!

Health Matters that arise at this location. Listed below are just a few of these accomplishments: Formed a partnership with the Jimmy Heath Housing for the Homeless. Worked with the local Cincinnati Police officers to reduce drug transaction and prostitution issues in and around the Health Center. Beth Bryant and Sheila Laffey spearheaded a pilot lockdown, hold and secure policy. The first of its kind for a City facility, this policy will be used as the template for other CHD facilities and other City Departments to be used in the event of threatening activity.
