15.4 Revision of Bus stand fee - Amendment to Rule,245 of Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989

G.O. (MS) No. 1054, Home (Transport VII) Department, Dated:22.10.2001. ORDER In the G.O. read above, a proposal to revise the existing Bus Stand Fee, as indicated below, was notified inviting objections/ suggestions.

2. A few objections and suggestions were received. They have been considered. Bus Stands have to be kept clean and maintained well for the benefit of passengers. Therefore funds are necessary. The last revision was ordered in 1989. 3. The Government have therefore now decided to confirm the orders issued in the Government order read above. Accordingly. the following Notification will be published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette. The revised rates will come into force from 11.03.2002. NOTIFICATION In exercise of the powers conferred by section 96 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Centra l Act 59 of 1988) the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, the draft of the same having been previously published as required by sub-section (1) of section 212 of the said Act. AMENDMENT In the said Rules, in the First Schedule, under the Heading Fees to be levied for the works Rupees Four Rupees Three Rupees Two and Rupees one and paise fifty the words Rupees fifteen, Rupees twelve Rupees eight and Rupees five: shall respectively, be substituted. , (By order of the Governor)
