Cultural/Historical (CH) - Students will investigate the content and aesthetics of the arts within cultural, historical, and contemporary contexts and understand the connection between the arts and the human experience.

We should remember that an artwork it not just a beautiful, interesting, creative, or curious thing, it has a message, and we need to discover its sense. Any artwork is a result of many factors that influenced the artist. For an artist his or her artwork is a part of him/her, of their life, it is their perception of some events around him/her; it is their way of showing us something.
OUTCOME CH7.3: Investigate and identify a variety of factors that influence artists, their work, and careers. Use Google or other online search engines to research answers to the following questions: 1) Research to determine various factors that influence the work and the careers of two Canadian artists.
