    To whom it may concern: The attached letters and maps will give you information and ideas about how to revitalize the downtown Hagerstown business district. Our work will give you information about what businesses you should put downtown and how the downtown area should be arranged. Through this project, our class learned how to use scales and map features. We also worked on writing a persuasive letter stating our ideas and learned about the business principles of scarcity and opportunity cost. Scarcity means how rare something is in a specific business region and opportunity cost is the opportunity you have to make money off of an investment. We hope that you will take our plans into consideration and that these ideas can help revitalize the downtown Hagerstown business district.
