Use past simple and time expressions to narrate biographies. Revision of past simple and time expressions (then, first, later). Prior knowledge: pronunciation of suffix -ed.

Warm-Up
T introduces topic by asking qs: Who is your favourite writer / actress / singer?, What do you know about him/her? Then T presents transparency with pictures of the people they are going to read about. T tells ss they are going to read and exchange information about them. T organizes ss into groups of 4.
