November 23, 2009 The main characters are Percy Jackson, Thalia, and Nico. They are all half-bloods. A half-blood is a kid that is half god and half human. A half-blood is sons and daughters of Olympians. Percy is the son of Poseidon, Thalia is the daughter of Zeus, and Nico is the son of Hades. How a half-blood is born is Olympian + human = half-blood. Percy and Thalia and Nico all somehow find each other and the ground shakes and it puts a big crack in the ground and they fall into the underworld. There was a ghost and she tells them that they need to find Hades sword before Kronos assassin Persephone gets it first and leaves the underworld. So they cant let Persephone get it first so he can give it to Kronos so Kronos can use it against the Olympians. I rate this book 10 because I was reading the series and they were all good. I like the adventures and all the Olympian gods and the monster in the books. The Olympians and the titans fight for good and evil. A reason I rated this 10 is because the power the characters have. One character can control water. This book makes me feel adventurous and cool. When they get quest they go up in the attic and a dead woman comes back to life and gives them a riddle and they find out all the pieces when they go on there quest. I recommend this book to kids who like adventurous and fighting and the Olympian gods.
