Keita are the works I will be examining. I am focusing on the cultural aspect of globalization for these works; I hope to uncover how cultural globalization has affected the characters, plot, setting, mood, etc. of the books and movies that I am analyzing. I want to show how even poorly developed countries in Africa are affected by cultural globalization, examine the positives and negatives and give examples of how cultural globalization is present in all of the works. I made all of these selections because they are the best examples of cultural globalization and the presence of globalization is a big theme for most of the works. The aforementioned films and books to me were the most interesting works that we viewed, discussed and were assigned. The plots, themes, characters and situations of the movies and books made me appreciative that I already live in a very developed country and made me want to discover how Africa as a whole could advance as a society. I will need to review all of the movies and books again and research more about cultural globalization and how it affects people, countries and cultures.
