End of Year Show PItch

Design Direction For each piece of promotional material there is a relevent phrase such as Experience the endeavor. All of the phrases include the word end which then coincides with the name of the event. The typographic treatment also creates a play on words, as each statement could be read as different things. For example Ready to attend? also conveys Ready to end?. Online Content We have created a sequenced gif to advertise the End of Year Show on the Leeds College of Art website. The animated gif will draw in the reader and lead to a link of the End of Year Show. An example of an e-mail of the show promotion can also be seen, which would be forwarded to all Students and Staff. Acrylic & Signage The lasercut test piece (top right) shows how the designs could be created as an interactive prop and photographed in the environments, by doing this creating a relationship between the formality of the end of year show and the students in their creative space. For this direction we would aim to improve the legibility of the typography on the acrylic. The words end of year show would have emphasis on it by being shaded rather than cut out.
