Did you know that there are more Realtors per capita in Arizona than any other state? Did you know that one in every 200 Nevada residence is a Realtor and that West Virginia has the lowest Realtor density in America? It is fascinating to see the density of licensed Realtors by state, and it is even more interesting to consider that there are thousands more who are real estate agents yet not members of the National Association of Realtors, and many inactive members just waiting to get a referral and jump back into the game. The industry is large, and professionals number nearly one million. Nationally, the number of dues-paying members of NAR has fallen since the housing crash, there are currently over 971,000 members as of the end of April. Take a look at the density chart to see how populated your state is with Realtors.

Note: excludes NAR members in Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
