Simple Tense
Past Tense The Sentences showing us about past events happened and finished in the past. Present Tense The sentences showing us about the activities happened in the present / daily activities / routine activities. Future Tense The sentences showing us about the activities happened in the future / next time.

PAST TENSE
(+) S + V-2 + O The patient came to the hospital last night. (-) S + did not + V-1 + O The doctor did not give the prescription yesterday. (?) Did + S + V-1 + O ? Did the patient feel something ? TIME REFERENCE
