For Marination 1. Chili powder 1/2 tsp Pepper powder 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp 2.

2. Salt For Masala 3. Onion 1/2 medium, chopped 4. Tomato 1.5 chopped 5. Green chili 1 (optional) 6. Ginger 1/2 tbsp, chopped or paste Garlic 1/2 tbsp, chopped or paste 7. Coriander powder 1/2 tbsp 8. chili powder 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp Garam masala 1 tsp 9. Water 1 cup 10. oil Salt Marinate the cleaned fish pieces with number 2 ingredients (marination ingredients) and keep aside for half an hour. Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated fish pieces. Add chopped onion, ginger & garlic,curry leaves and green chili to the remaining oil and saute till it is done. Add all masala powders and stir for a minute. Once the masala powders are fried well, add tomato pieces and saute till the oil starts appearing. Add water & salt. Let it boil. Once it starts boiling add fried fish pieces and cook in low flame for about 7 10 minutes or until the fish pieces are covered in the gravy. Serve hot with rice.
