Hello. The following explains the deposit that was received from students before admission and how the university makes use of it. The details of the deposit The deposit after the deduction of the required admissions fee and remittance fee at admissions is made up of the following. 1. Housing compensation All international students are required to join this insurance. For an undergraduate student this is 14,800 (4 years) and for a graduate student this is 7,780 (2 years). Regarding the payment of the compensation fee, students are not required to make this payment because the university will deduct the fee from the deposit in advance and pay the insurance company. 2. AP House rent (April, May and Junes rent) The university has transferred the AP House rent immediately after admission, from the deposit in advance. Therefore, students are not required to pay until June. Please refer to #4 below regarding AP House monthly rent after admission. 3. Tuition: Tuition B payment for the 2012 spring semester (June 30 payment deadline) 2012 fall semester tuition (October 20 and December 25 payment deadlines) Concerning the tuition mentioned above, the university will transfer the students tuition from their deposit on their behalf so students are not required to make the payments themselves. *Students are required to pay their tuition beginning with the 2013 spring semester when their deposit has been completely used up. Aninvoicewill be sent to your address in Japan at about April 2013 so please be sure to pay your tuition at the bank yourself. 4. Living expenses *Includes AP House rent This is the amount that is transferred into your bank account every month. April and Mays payment will be paid to you in cash and all payments after June will be transferred to your Oita Mirai Shinyo Kinko on the 20th of every month. AP House rent is also included in your living expenses and your rent will be withdrawn on the first of every month. AP House rent for July will be withdrawn on July 1st.Be sure to plan appropriately so to leave a balance in your account in order to pay your AP House rent. *Please refer to the attached document for details.
