Design and Development of Multimeter
Specifications:
1) 2) 3) 4) Voltmeter should have 5V, 10V, 150V and 300V ranges Voltmeter sensitivity = or > 1000/V Ammeter current ranges are 100mA, 200mA , 500mA and 2A it is informed that Sir Skandar hayat has modified the OHM-METER ranges from 1M and 10M to 100K and 10K. so please do your project accordingly,

Make group of two membersat the most, solo is preferable. Each group is required to design and develop a multimeter. Themultimeter should be presented in a working product form. The project report is in the form of a Technical Manual. The groupmay have their company name with its slogan and logo on the front page of the Technical Manual. The project report should contain design detail that is block diagram, circuit diagram, its working principal, parts breakdown andexplanation of all the features of the multimeter. The project report should be in a printed form, preferably color printed. The project is required to be completed and submitted within six weeks starting from 21 November, 2011. At the end there will be a viva regarding the project. Group tops the contest would be presented with a cash award. The project will be considered as best which has the following features: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) Higher sensitivity. Capable of measuring accurate (true) value. Lower loading affect. Portable. designed for maximum comfort, efficiency, safety, and ease of use, especially at the workplace (Ergonomic design).

The project has 40% weightage of totalLabs weightage.
