Seven Sided Polygon

Seven Sided Polygon A polygon is a geometrical shape which is constructed by the straight lines. In geometry there are various kinds of polygons are defined that are constructed with help of straight lines. Polygon is a special kind of geometrical shape that has equal no. of line segment and same amount of connecting points. In mathematical definition we can describe the polygon as a geometrical shape which is enclosed with the several line segments. In the polygons the connecting points are popularly called as vertex point and in the same aspect the line which connects the two vertex point to each other are known as edges of the polygon. In the polygon there is no limit for no. of line segment that are exists into the polygon. In the formation of polygon it is necessary that to form the polygon with three sides.According to above definition of polygon we can say that triangle is a geometrical shape which can be consider as a polygon because triangle is a shape which is formed by three straight lines. Normally in the concept of polygon we discuss about the regular polygon. Regular polygon is a type of polygon in which all the sides and all the angles are equal in the measure. In a simple mean we can say that when all the sides have equal length and all the angles have equal measurement then that polygon can be consider as a regular polygon. On the basis of regular polygon definition we can create the n no. of regular polygon. Suppose a three sides polygon known as triangle, a four sided regular polygon known as square. In the same aspect seven side regular polygon known as heptagon. If in case a polygon contains n numbers of sides into it then it can be called as n gon polygon. Here we are going to discussing about the Seven Sided Polygon. In geometrical mathematics, a Seven Sided Polygon popularly known as heptagon. A heptagon can be considered as a regular polygon when all the seven sides are same in length with each other and all the seven angles of the heptagon are similar in measurement. Heptagon is a geometrical shape which is formed with seven straight lines. In the concept of heptagon all the interior angles have the equal measurement. In mathematics, there are various formula provided to find the value of an interior angle for the regular polygon. In the below we show you the process of finding the value of interior angle of heptagon by using the mathematical formula: Angle of heptagon = (n 2 ) * 180o / n In the above formula the symbol n is used for denoting the no. of sides of the regular polygon. Now by applying the no. of sides of heptagon we can easily calculate the value of interior angle of a heptagon. As we know that heptagon contains the seven sides into it then: Interior Angle of heptagon = (7 2 ) * 180o / 7 The value of Interior Angle of heptagon = 128.57143o Learn More Tutors

Form the above value we can say that heptagon contains the value of an angle equals to the 128.57143o. When we measure the length of a regular heptagon then we obtain that all the sides of heptagon is equal to each other. Polygon may be regular and irregular polygon. The 7 Sided Polygon is also a regular type of polygon. Some polygons uses the equiangular and equilateral property, so these types of polygons are comes under in the regular polygon. To be more precise the regular polygons are the polygons in which all the sides and all the angles are same when we do the measure. The 7 Sided Polygon is also known as the heptagon. We can use either 7 Sided Polygon or heptagon, both the matters same. The simple definition of the 7 Sided regular Polygon or heptagon is that, a polygon that consist seven side and all seven sides and seven angles are equal. In the shape of heptagon or 7 Sided Polygon the number of line segments and number of vertex point are equal. It is also a property of polygon.
