    2. Write a short note on Screening. 3. List out the latest softwares in water and air quality modeling. 4. Write a short note on fault-tree analysis. 5. Explain the checklist method of impact assessment. 6. Briefly explain the various types of Socio-economic impacts. 7. Write a short note on standards for noise quality. 8. Briefly explain the impact of development on vegetation and wild life.
    (5x8=40 marks) PART-B MODULE-I 9. Explain briefly the evolution of EIA. OR 10. Explain in general the environmental clearance process in India. MODULE-II
