Tigger!!! Illusion Knit Scarf!!!! This is an illusion knit, and the chart charts ridges, not rows.

The key to the chart is as follows: Orange = knit with light colour Black = knit with dark colour White = purl with whichever colour is appropriate to the current row. Make sure you know how to follow an illusion knit chart before you begin. The end result will be viewable at an angle from the bottom. To find instructions, I suggest the Wooly Thoughts website, its got tutorials and the chart standards that I am adopting. Alternate ridges between light and dark. The blue grid is 5x5 stitches, the entire pattern is 45 stitches, by 90 ridges CO 45 stitches using dark colour K row Switch to light colour. You are now at the bottom row of the chart. K1 row P1 row Switch to dark colour K 2 rows Switch to light colour K 1 row Purl 17, K4, P24 Switch to dark colour K2 rows Switch to light colour K 1 row Purl 15, K9, P21 etc, following the chart. After finishing the chart continue knitting ridges in alternating colours, until scarf reaches the desired length.

This chart could also be used for panels in other projects, such as for part of a knit bag or a jumper.
