The purpose of this set of slides is to give you an overview as to how NTR 684 is structured.
Course Objectives
As a result of this course, the student will:
Be able to define program planning and evaluation Develop an understanding of the processes involved in planning and evaluating health promotion programs. Apply skills to organize, design, staff, and evaluate an effective health promotion program. Understand and apply health behavior and health education theory in development of health promotion programs. Develop, and critique program plans, grant proposals, staffing plans, and budgets. Understand the relationship between program planning and development of grant writing. Gain knowledge regarding resources available for use when planning and administering health promotion programs. Learn and/or practice preparing a marketing podcast.
