The Saint John Learning Exchange, a non-profit adult education organization, whose primary focus includes GED preparation, essential skills training, and transition to work activities is now accepting resumes for the position of Job Developer. The Job Developer will work closely with the employment team in a sales role to generate employer leads and job opportunities. They will work to position candidates for the workforce in conjunction with addressing the recruitment needs of employers. This innovative position is crucial to engaging, recruiting and maintaining relationships with employers. Education Requirements Must have Bachelors Degree in either Arts, Social Science, Education or Business and at least one year related experience working with employers or a post-secondary diploma/certificate with at least 5 years experience working with employers. Skills Required Experience in sales and sales management Experience in marketing (direct marketing and e-marketing) Excellent writing and presentation skills (including public speaking) Excellent problem solving skills and a strong pro-active approach Ability to relate to people and foster self help Excellent oral & written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to integrate and work effectively as part of the team Ability to keep accurate records and documentation Ability to manage multiple priorities, accept responsibility and meet deadlines Must be positive and motivated Ability to work with established community links including employer leadership and advisory teams, Board of Trade and Enterprise Saint John to recruit and strengthen employer commitment
