Bu esnada derzi temizlemek iin sadece su ve snger yeterli olacaktr. Karo yzeyinde derz dolgu kalntlarnn ertlemesi durumunda, bu blgelere tutunacak kirler, karo yzeylerinin temizlenmesini zorlatracaktr. Bu durumdaki yzeyler ancak zel kimyasallarla temizlenebilir. Bu tip zel temizleyiciler, kimyasaln reticisi tarafndan belirtilen ekilde kullanlmaldr. Deme sonras temizliklerde karo yzeyleri yeterli miktardaki suyla durulanmaldr. Dier taraftan, yzeyi asite hassas karolar (metalik yzeyliler vb.), yalnzca su ve ntr temizlik malzemesiyle temizlenmelidir. As a precaution, cleaning agents containing Hydrofluoric acid and its compounds must not be used, because it attacks ceramic material directly and damages the surface. For the tiles with acid sensitive surfaces (such as metallic surfaces, some specified as B in the catalogue), it is recommended to use only neutral detergent and water, before using any detergent, the effect must be checked in a small area. Also inappropriate cleaning such as with abrasive pads may negatively affect the slip-resistance properties. And some cleaning products may leave a film of grease that can attract dirt and make the surface slippery; therefore, using this kind of cleaning products must be avoided.
