Life and Love are both-and for fullness and completeness Love of Life is full of sourness and sweetness; a Life of Love is complete amid gain and pain. Humbly I embrace less is more and more is less To say that Love is fair or that Life is easy ignores the Truth, mocks Wisdom, and makes me queasy Neither can it be said in all Truth and Wisdom that Love is unfair and that Life is uneasy Joyously I expect, careful not to demand my earnings is not the imbursement I command its not a quid pro quo; Im owed nothing at all What I earn is what I expect and then expand I know what I know and dont know what I dont know I cannot just fake it and go on with the show Truth lives the difference and Wisdom loves the difference both knowing and unknowing are part of the flow To bring peace with mercy and provide protection I must choose to care for all with true affection. If I just look at their lack and recount their faults, Alas, Loves rejection begets Lifes dejection So, I have places to go and choices to make I can choose to give with forgive and not forsake I can go it all alone and with you forego Whats it going to be: take away or stay awake? I come with outstretched arms unarmed on both knees knelt I must listen to be heard and feel to be felt yes means yes, and no means no -- I am what I am, Im as good as my word and deal with what Im dealt Life and Love are both-and for fullness and completeness Love of Life is full of sourness and sweetness A Life of Love is complete amid gain and pain I embrace humbly less is more and more is less
