INTRODUCTION
THE PURPOSE IS TO COMPLETE A RENEWAL OPTIONS ANALYSIS REPORT FOR THE EAST RING ROAD BRIDGE IN OTTAWA, ONTARIO. THE CONDITION SURVEY WAS PERFORMED BY JACQUES WHITFORD ON JUNE 14, 2006 AND BASED ON THE PROCEDURES AND FINDINGS, TO DETERMINE REPLACEMENT AND REHABILITATION OPTIONS FOR THE BRIDGE.

: Replacement with post-tensioned solid concrete deck of the same thickness and configuration as the existing deck.

: Replacement of deck with concrete slab on steel plate girders.

: Rehabilitation including converting deck to semi-integral configuration
