    How do i get my CIBIL records clear?

    I have paid all my dues to the bank, but still my name is reflecting in CIBIL records, I have paid the total outstanding as on date of my credit card, Can any one tell me what is the legal way to close this issues as this have become a pain in my life, I have been following with the back on regular basics but no action has been taken, Kindly suggest me how do I go about this, Note: I have not made any settlement or partial payment, 1 year ago Report Abuse

    I faced the same problem and I solved it. Follow the below: 1: make a DD of Rs.142 in favour of CREDIT INFORMATION BUREA (INDIA) LTD. payable at Mumbai. 2: Go to site cibil.com and download the application form to get your cibil report. It is simple form. Fill it up and attach DD of Rs.142 and send to following address: CIBIL, HOECHST HOUSE, 6th Floor, 193 Backbay Reclamation Nariman Point Mumbai 400021. CIBIL will respond to ur application within 15 days. You will get ur CIBIL Report. Read the report and mark the banks who have not updated CIBIL about ur payment. Now reply to CIBIL giving them details and xerox copies of the documents of ur repayment. CIBIL will contact the concerned bankers and on confirmation abt ur payment from the bank, CIBIL will rectify ur report.
