Name: Ameet Kumar Student Id: bc100202096 Q 1: Find the equivalent resistance of given circuit. Write each step of the calculation to get maximum marks. Draw the circuit diagram of each step otherwise you will lose your marks.

Solution: I) resister 4 and 4 are in series So Ri = 4+4 = 8 ii) Resister 5 and 3 are in series So Rii= 5+3 = 8

Resister iv) Resister 8 and 8 are Parallel so 1/Riv= 1/8+1/8 Riv= 4 And v) Resister 6 and 6 are Parallel

so 1/Rv= 1/6+1/6 = 1/3 Rv = 3

Vi) Resister 10 and 7 are parelle So 1/Rvi = 1/10+1/7 = 17/70 Rvi =90/17 = 5.9 vii) 4 and 3 are in series ( with out 12 ) so Rvii = 4+3 = 7
