This report will present suggestions made by students for the special event held by the school, World Awareness Day, and make recommendations for activities, what should be included in the day. Survey results Sugestions were selected from questionnaires completed by almost 85 per cent of students.The students have shown their desire to support the day by giving many suggestions. These were divided into recommendations for the day, and ideas that would have an effect in long-term. The former included a vegetarian lunch, films and lectures for people to be informed, and clearing up litter in the school grounds. World Awareness Day gives opportunities to get tips about the best ways to recycle and it gives you the opportunity to adopt an animal. Recommendations The proposed timetable has to slots for activities. Recommendations for using the allocated times are: From 10 to 12 1. Films. Showing films to the audience about endangered species to let them see the major problems that come with it. 2. Lectures. We will give lectures about endangered animals and the consequences of that, just to make sure that people see the issues. There will also be an opportunity to adopt a animal. After that theres time for lunch in the school cafeteria. It will be a healthy lunch, based especially on fruits and vegetables. From 1 to 4: 1. A documentary. Well see a documentary on a theme that will fit for the day. 2. Clean up for school. We will give the school a proper clean-up, which will be completely sponsored. This is both good for the school and for the environment and this will let the people see how much rubbish is around us. It also makes clear how much trash we create. 3. A party based on games, where the students can share their opinons and have some fun. All the students can bring their friends, family and acquaintances so that this day will be filled with people and enthusiasm. Well try to make this day into a wonderful awareness day!
