Hopeless
Sanctuaries were lost long ago, Ruins that brought joy turned to rubble. Worthless buildings oversee us down below. The frustration and anger begins to bubble. The people march and begin to shout. Soldiers in uniforms of power strike us down, Our bodies tired, our minds blank out, To think of days where happiness was all around. Done fighting we put down our blades. Theres nothing more we can do but wait. For better days to come and end the charade, Nothing else to hope for in this desperate state. Hear the waling of children, the cracking of bones. Many go back to the past to cope with the present. Oppressed and depressed, we are all alone. Lets go back to the past when it was pleasant.
