NPC, an autonomous body under Ministry of Industry, Govt. of India with HQ at New Delhi and 12 Regional Offices at major locations and Training Institute at Chennai, announces ONE year PG certificate Programmes in the following disciplines: A) INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING B) ENERGY MANAGEMENT AND C) ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in following branches of Engineering from recognized University/Institute with at least 55% aggregate in the qualifying examination. For A: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science Engineering, Production and Industrial Engg. For B : Mechanical, Chemical & Electrical For C: Mechanical, Chemical Engineering and Civil Engineering with electives in Environmental Engineering Preference will be given to candidates with experience AGE : Maximum of 28 years as on 01.11.2009 (5 years relaxation for SC/ST) PROGRAMME: 1-year full-time training commencing from 16.11.2009. Candidates can avail hostel facility within the campus on first come first served on payment basis. COURSE FEE : 1) Self-Sponsored candidates Rs.1,00,000/- per year (Rs.50,000/-per Semester) 2) Industry sponsored candidates Rs.2 00,000/- per year PLACEMENT: Successful Self-Sponsored candidates may be considered for appointment as Assistant Directors in NPC in the scale of Rs.15600-39100, Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- plus allowances as per NPC rules. (Total emoluments will be around Rs. 35,000/- per month). MODE OF SELECTION: Self-Sponsored candidates will have to appear for a written test in different centres at their own cost. Short listed candidates from written test will be called for group discussions and interview. Industry sponsored candidates meeting the Qualification Criteria will be admitted directly on first come first served basis. APPLICATION forms and prospectus can be downloaded from our website.
