Why Is It Important To Teach PDHPE in

Encourages an understanding and valuing of self and others, which provides students with opportunities to work cooperatively in team situations and to enjoy more stable interpersonal relationships.
Promotes physical activity. Children need to be physically active for at least 30 minutes per day.
PDHPE teaches and develops 5 main fundamental life skills, which are essential tools for leading a successful lifestyle.
