    Conditionals are sentences that express possibilities depending on whether something else occurs. There are four types of conditionals: zero conditional for general truths, first conditional for future possibilities, second conditional for unlikely future situations, and third conditional for unchangeable past events. Each conditional uses different verb tenses - zero conditional uses present, first conditional uses present and future, second conditional uses past and conditional, and third conditional uses past perfect and conditional.
