    Youth & Community Outreach Programs

    Camp Hero
    FREE day camp providing military children opportunities to practice the core values of the YMCA: Caring, Honesty, Responsibility, and Respect.

    Apply June 13th -June 20th at www.militaryymca.org


    Children 7 to 12 years old
    Five full days packed with games, crafts, and exploration. Traveling twice a week to local San Diego scenic parks and a special day long trip, Camp Hero keeps San Diego military kids busy and having fun.

    Location: Armed Services YMCA Paul Hartley Complex


    Sessions: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. August 6th - August 10th August 13th - August 17th August 20th - August 24th August 27th - August 31st
    The participating childs Active Duty sponsor must be E-6 or below and currently assigned to a San Diego based ship or military installation.

    Invitations to Camp Hero will be emailed to families on June 22nd
