LSMW FOR CHANGING MASS PASSWORDS

MASS PASSWORD CHANGES USING LSMW Transaction 1) First enter the transaction LSMW 2)Create the projects as shown. You can give any name I clicked on create 3) Click on execute (F8). On next screen activate the numbering . We will follow each step 1 by one. Click on numbering 4) Click on double click=change to activate (if not activated) . Then double click on step 1 as shown in screen shot below 5) Then click on "Batch Input recording"; Enter "SU01" and then click on Recording overview. 6) Click on create recording as shown below 7) Enter the description and enter transaction "SU01". 8) It takes you through the SU01 screen where you can enter user and click on password reset option . 9) After the recording is done it shows the below screen 9) Save it . Now click on each field to provide them with a name . 10) For USR02-BNAME; I gave "username". Now set accordingly for all fields. 11) Save and go back 12) Now click on step 2 and make changes accordingly. 12) Save and go back and start with step 3 . Here click on table maintenance to map the fields to variables

Use the same field names for ease. 13) Set the value as shown. Save and go back to start with step 4. Values are already maintained; so nothing is required here to be changed. 14) In next step "Change field Mappings and conversion" do as shown in figure below 14) Select values as shown for all fields in figure below 15) Put the entries as shown and save the excel sheet as Tab Limited text file. Maintain excel sheet like this and save as ? tab-limited text file. 16) The document is created as text file. 17) Maintain the settings as shown below for specify file option. Select "tabulator" and click on "Field names as start of files" 18) Save and go back to step "Assign files" 19) Go to step 12 and execute it. It shows below screen 20) Click on step 14 and and select the option and click on "Process" Select the entry and click on Process Click on process again. It will execute the steps for all users in file ( Just press enter for the steps) 21) Now our users that we have entered in the file; their passwords are already reset.
