Shayla Geaccone has a nearly limitless capacity to be creative. She maintains the power to conceive new possibilities and put innovative ideas into action. This is evident in her vibrant and unique approach to Advance Placement English. Shaylas mental structures continually search for a method to thoroughly examine text or research, much as a painter analyzes what perspective and medium will drive the artists internal visions. Her patience in incubating ideas is a skill few students achieve. With confidence and focus, the words are placed for the reader to begin the process of mental visualizations that connect her ideas to thoughts to continuity, uncovered within the entire landscape of her writing canvas. The view is worth the journey and there is a sense of seeing the novel or poem with new eyes, insights, and cultivating a critical lens in order to self edit. Her quiet demeanor underlies a cultivation of imagination that continues to lead Shayla into profound and wondrous discoveries.
