    Respected Sir, I acknowledge receipt of your Memo no. ROL: 725:12 Date 23.04.2012 At the outset I beg to state that I was not handling the deposit section of the branch. As a matter of fact the high value deposit mobilization, retention and payment is the matter between the Brach-in charge and Regional Office. I have verified the entry of vouchers which were duly signed by the concerned officer and also signed by Branch in charge. My job was performed as a routine officer of the branch. With regard to the said entries as mentioned in the Memo, my explanation is as under:Entry Date 08-04-2009 for 82192.00 The said Debit Voucher was prepared and signed by an Officer and also signed by Branch-in charge. This voucher was posted by another officer of the branch and the entry was verified by me in a routine manner. It can be verified from the available record of the Branch. Entry Date 20-01-2011 for 55640.00 The concerned debit voucher of the above entry was prepared, signed and posted by an Officer and also signed by the Branch-in charge. The same posted voucher was verified in a routine manner by me.

    It may please be observed that both the vouchers were signed by an officer and Branch-in charge. After posting being done by an officer, these voucher came to me for verification. Pertinent to mention here is that CSOLOP of the Branch takes place, only when all the posted vouchers were verified in the system. As the voucher were genuine, duly authenticated by two existing officer including Branch-in charge. I have verified these entries to complete the procedure in the capacity of an officer of the branch. Sir, I was performing my duties in the normal routine course and there was no reason to doubt the authenticity of the transaction effected, as both vouchers were signed by the Branch-in charge. I therefore request you that in view of the aforesaid explanation may please be exonerate from the allegations as alleged in the Memo No. ROL: 725: 12 Date 23-04-2012. Hoping for kind justice from good self.
