Announcement about accepting non-Libyan University Teaching Staff Member to work in the
Faculties of the University of Sebha For the academic year 2012 - 2013
Sebha University announces about accepting University Teaching Staff Members to work in its
different Faculties for the academic year 2012-2013 in the following disciplines:
- Medical Sciences (Medicine - Dentistry - Nursing - Medical Technology)
- Engineering
- Basic sciences.
- Languages (English French)
- Media.
- Law.
(Attached detailed schedule of Courses required by colleges)

Requirements.
The applicant should
1 - Have a PhD from a recognized university.
2 - Have a teaching experience not less than 5 years.
3 - Be medically fit and free from impairment that hinder the performance of
her / his job.
4 - Be able to teach in English.
5 - Have the ICDL certificate in computer.
6 - Not be over (60) years.
7 - Not have been convicted of any type of wrongdoing or misdemeanor
involving moral turpitude or who were dismissed as a disciplinary decision from a recognized
University.
8 - Be legally responsible for any misleading that might be discovered in
his/her documents or any wrong details submitted to the University (such as invalidity of any
of the papers or certificates), and shall bear the costs of his / her return to his country or any
legal action
9 - All regulations and legislations in force in Libya should apply to all contracted applicants.
10 - Contracting is accomplished according to the Degree advertised by the University.
11 - The contracted applicant should accept to work in any of the faculties of the University.

Documents required:
A written cover letter stating that the applicant requests to work as a Teaching Staff Member at
The University of Sebha.
CV of the applicant.
The major specialization and other subjects that could be taught by the applicant.
A copy of the applicants passport.
Education (BA, Bsc. - Master - Doctorate) certified by the competent authorities and approved
by the Libyan Embassy of the country where the applicant lives.

 A copy of a master's and PhD thesis of the applicant.

Certificate of experience from the last academic place of work.
Health Certificate states that the applicant is free from infectious diseases, impairments and
disabilities.
Certificate of good conduct and behavior.

- Note
All required documents are essential and no application will be
considered had it missed any request document.

given the following benefits:

Furniture allowance for the first time arrival.

Housing allowance.
Tickets annually to the capital of his/her country and his/her husband wife and two
children under 18 years old.
Annual leave (30) days after the end of the academic year.
Annual bonus equivalent to one month's salary after the first year.
