REFLECTION- LASALLIAN DAY OF PRAYERS 2011

I would like to invite you to sit comfortably and a distance from one another. Do close your eyes Throughout this reflection session and kindly observe a moment of silence. Lets reflect on our journey throughout the Lasallian Day celebration at our school. Do you still remember Madam Yaps pledge on the peace wall? Her message was Stop Bullying! And Lets make this world a better place to live. Did you take an instance to put up your pledge on the peace wall ? What was your pledge on the theme Stand up speak out? Are you against bullying? Imagine yourself being bullied, how would you feel if you could not walk safely back to your classes? If you could not risk getting caught by a student bigger and stronger than you? Would you like if Someone forced you to do things against your own will? Would you be happy if you were treated Like someone elses puppet? Now, imagine yourself as a bully. You would surely enjoy harassing A student because he is weaker than you. But do you know what impact will it have on the individual? Do you think he will ever have confidence in life again? What is your role as a friend? Will you lend a helping hand towards the individual? Will you be a patient listener and comfort him? Think about it. We are Gods most special and loved creation in this world. All of us are different. The world would be a boring place to be if all of us were the same. We should recpect the speciality of each individual no matter race, skin colour or size . Together we Would make this world a better place to live in peace, harmony and freedom.
