Dear AC500-eCo starter kit user, Thank you very much for purchasing ABB AC500-eCo starter kit. Welcome to the world of ABB PLC by playing with this AC500-eCo starter kit. This getting started CD provides you the necessary information for the first steps with AC500-eCo PLC. This getting started CD contains AC500-eCo getting started handbook documentation, source files of the examples from the handbook, video tutorials and brochures of AC500 PLC related products. In order to have basic knowledge and understanding of AC500-eCo products and software programming, you need to finish the first example in the handbook. It will take 1 to 1.5 hours to finish the hardware installation, software installation and first exercise in the handbook. You can also open the source file (project) of examples directly from the CD and test the online simulation which is described in the handbook. You can also follow the video tutorial step by step for better understanding. There are three video tutorials available to show you how to create a sample project and how to use online simulation to test the program. There are pauses in the video tutorial after several steps. You can continue the video tutorial by clicking the blue arrow symbol on the lower right corner on the screen.
