I am pleased to invite you to join the gathering of senior religious and youth leaders from Asia and Europe during the forum on Interfaith Youth Roundtable on Migration and Dialogue with Senior Religious Leaders on October 12, 2011, from 9:00 to 3:00 oclock in the afternoon at the Auditorium of the Thomas Aquinas Research Complex, University of Santo Tomas. This activity is an official Pre-Event of the 7th ASEM-IFD and will convene young religious leaders from Asia and Europe to partake in an interreligious dialogue on migration that will provide a unique perspective on harnessing the benefits and addressing the challenges of migration through interfaith cooperation. The Pre-Event meeting will adopt a joint interfaith statement on migration which will be presented to His Excellency, President Benigno S. Aquino, III, President of the Republic of the Philippines, during the Main 7th ASEM-IFD Forum. The Philippine Government is hosting the 7th Asia-Europe Meeting on Interfaith Dialogue, with the theme Harnessing the Benefits and Addressing the Challenges of Migration through Interfaith and Intercultural Dialogue, on October 13-14, 2011. Likewise, I would like to invite you to join us in the launching of the Religions for Peace Global Campaign on Restoring Dignity: Religious Youth Say No to Violence against Women from 3:00 to 5:00 in the afternoon at the Thomas Aquinas Research Complex, University of Santo Tomas.
